The Winterville Marigold
Festival Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Open to business, civic and
church organizations, schools, families or individuals, music or talent groups.
Line up time will occur as follows:
7:30 – 9:00 am – Floats, tractors, other motorized
vehicles
9:00 – 9:30 am – Bands, twirlers, flags, other walking units
9:30 – 9:45 am – Horses and other animals
NOTE: Participants who arrive after their designated line-up
time may not be allowed to participate.
Line Up Location: Historic Winterville School/RESA; North
Church Street @ Winter Street
Parade Start Time: 10 a.m.
Parade
Route: 1 mile
Please note the following:
You
must check in with Festival Staff upon arrival, on Church Street at the historic school/RESA site.
You will be given your position number and directed to the lineup location.
Floats,
tractors, and other vehicles that need to arrive early may line up starting at 7:30 am. One
person, with the ability to move your float or vehicle, must remain with the unit at all times.
Bands, twirlers,
flags, walking units: once you are in the parade line up, you must stay with your group!
The blowing
of horns, whistles, or sirens before the parade begins is strictly prohibited.

location, and parking areas will be distributed a few weeks prior to the Festival.
