Revolutionary War History
in
Winterville's Backyard

Join experienced battlefield guide and historian Jonathan Scott as he leads you through the site of Kettle Creek, Georgia's largest Revolutionary War battle! Attendees will meet in downtown Winterville before boarding a shuttle for the 45-minute drive to the battlefield. There, you will follow in the footsteps of such names as Clarke, Pickens, Dooly, and Boyd as you move around and through the site of the February 14, 1779 engagement.

Once on site, the tour will last for approximately 2 hours. Please note that the terrain at Kettle Creek is groomed but often uneven and hilly. Attendees can expect to walk for approximately 1.5 miles, so please dress accordingly.

In the event of poor weather, event will be rescheduled.
