Public Hearing & Regular Meeting

Regular Meeting:
Mayor Ferrelle called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
James Tucker and Russell Cochran were appointed by Mayor and Council as new members to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Since the resignation of David Watwood, Member Field nominated Kim Burch to fill the
position as Chair of the Committee. Member Tucker seconded the motion and all votes were in favor.
Member Tucker moved to nominate Andy Dawson as Vice-Chair, seconded by Member Cochran and approved unanimously.
Minutes: Member Dawson moved to approve the minutes of February 6, 2023. (There were no minutes for the March 6, 2023 meeting due to no quorum. The motion was seconded by
Member Tucker and approved unanimously.
Old Business: None.
New Business:
1. Bryan Flaig, 280 Smithonia Road, Interior Remodel. Member Field moved to approve the
application as submitted. The motion was seconded by Member Dawson and approved
unanimously.
2. Business License Application, Garfias Mexican Restaurant. Member Field moved to
approve and recommend approval to Mayor and Council the business license application
for Garfias Mexican Restaurant. The motion was seconded by Member Tucker and
approved unanimously.
3. Six Mile Station plans were discussed but no action was taken.
Having no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
