Regular Meeting
Wednesday September 6. 2023 - 5:30 P.M.

Regular Meeting:
Chairperson Burch called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Minutes: Member Tucker moved to approve the minutes of August 7, 2023. The motion was seconded by Member Cochran and approved unanimously.
Old Business: None.
New Business:
1. Member Dawson moved to approve, pending approval by the HPC, the resubmitted application submitted by David Watwood to add on-to and renovate his barn. The motion was seconded by Member Cochran and tentatively approved unanimously. (Since this meeting HPC has approved this item.)
2. Member Tucker moved to approve a zoning application submitted by Triple J Construction for Sharon Kennybrew, 1025 Moores Grove Road, for an addition on the rear of the house. The motion was seconded by Member Dawson and unanimously approved.
3. Naomi Palmer, 106 Gayle Court, submitted, submitted a zoning application to add a bathroom to an existing accessory building and ask for a variance. Member Dawson moved to approve the application as submitted for the building improvements and approve as a variance to the single-family residence code to allow a family member to reside in the structure. The motion was seconded by Member Tucker.
4. Mary Quinn, 390 North Main Street, submitted an application to add a rear screened porch to the existing house. It has been approved by the HPC. Member Tucker moved to approve as submitted. The motion was seconded by Member Dawson and unanimously approved.
Having no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:08 p.m.
