Regular Meeting Minutes

Monday June 2, 2025 - 5:00 P.M.

Regular Meeting:

Chairperson Burch called the meeting to order at 5:08 p.m.

Minutes: Member Valentine moved to approve the Minutes of May 5, 2025. The motion was seconded by Member Dawson and approved.

Old Business:

New Business:

1. Grovestone Countertops, Business License Application. Member Dawson moved to

approve a Home Occupation Tax Certificate to Leah Jones, for a home office for

Grovestone Countertops. The motion was seconded by Member Field and unanimously

approved.

2. Ted & Susan Holladay, 115 Smithonia Road, Kitchen addition. Member Dawson

moved to approve a zoning application for a four (4) foot addition to the existing home

submitted by Christian Roofing for Ted Holladay. The motion was seconded by Member Spratlin and unanimously approved.

3. Winterville United Methodist Church 101 Parkview Drive. Member Field moved to

approve a zoning application submitted by Karen B. Griffin to remodel an existing

interior storage room into an ADA-compliant restroom. The motion was seconded by

Member Valentine and unanimously approved.

4. Kim & Charles Burch, 110 Lakeview/Peachtree Street, 1 Acre sub-divide. Member

Spratlin moved to table this item until the surveyor can resubmit a plat reflecting property lines and pins to satisfy all parties involved. Member Field seconded the motion and the item was tabled. Member Valentine recused himself from voting due to a conflict of interest concerning adjacent property lines.

With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
