Regular Meeting:
Chairperson Burch called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Minutes: Member Field move to approve the Minutes of December 4, 2023 and January 3, 2024. The motion was seconded by Member Tucker and approved unanimously.
Old Business:
New Business:
Terry Brown, 324 Athens Road, submitted an application to close in an open garage. Member Field moved to approve pending he uses 4 x 8’ sheets of hardie board with reverse board and batten strips. The motion was seconded by Member Cochran and approved unanimously.
Barnes & Koonce, LLC. Member Cochran moved to recommend approval to Mayor and Council for a Home Occupation Business License to Barnes & Koonce, LLC. The motion was seconded by Member Tucker and approved unanimously.
Chibugan Café & More. Member Field moved to recommend approval to Mayor and Council for a Business License to Salvyn Pez, owner of the restaurant building located at 302 Athens Road. The motion was seconded by Member Cochran and approved unanimously. Chairperson Burch made a recommendation to Mr. Pez to thoroughly check into which food service department and inspections his business will operate under.
Having no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
